Question #1

Begin by reading the article linked below.   This article is focused on the connections between Biblical ethics (flowing from a Biblical Worldview we discussed in Module 1) and Duty Ethics as defined by Immanuel Kant.  The link below takes you to the first part of this document.  If you wish to read the second part, a link is located at the bottom of the article.  You are not required, however, to read Part 2. Below, discuss the links between three of the scriptures discussed in Module 1 and the Kantian view of ethics.  You may select the three scriptures that you wish to discuss. [400 words minimum]

Question #2

In this video, by Damon Horowitz, the need for us to seriously and intentional develop a means of ethical reasoning is discussed. Far too often, we spend incredible effort making financial or relational decisions (also important), but we randomly or haphazardly approach ethical choices. As the presenter will state, this fact is "terrifying"!  If anything deserves rigor, it is how we approach ethical conduct. Below discuss your personal ethical standard.  Specifically address how your ethical approach agrees and/or disagrees with Duty Ethics, Utility Ethics, and Virtue Ethics.

Question #3

Below, you are to create your own fictional ethics case study.  There is a catch, however.  You have to explain why for this case study, Duty Ethics, Utility Ethics, and Virtue Ethics would provide multiple “best” answers.  This will serve to help me assess your understanding of the differences (sometimes subtle) between these theories.  [400 words minimum
