The thesis topic is:

Tthe game theory in international negotiations. To be specific, there are five negotiations to be examined:

1.Berlin Crisis

2. German Reunification (after Cold War)

3. Cuban Missile Crises

4. Reykjavik Summit

I thought  "the strategy of Conflict" by Thomas Schelling is the best manual to at the game theory and negotiations (see the attachment)

As long as my major is international relations, I think, the thesis should contemplate 5 negotiations from international relations' perspective than economic.

I wanted to show if the game theory was applied explicitly taking into account participants or unintended.  OR was it at all in those negotiations.

To my mind, much observation will be on negotiations,

1- Why the situation occurred

2- Participants

3- Their Interests and expectations from negotiations

4- Concessions made

5- The outcome of the negotiations

6- Who won more who lost more

7. threats, bargain, and etc

In a mathematical concept, the game theory can be considered as a tautology, whose outcomes depend on the different premises of analysis. Game theory is nothing but the assumption of maximization in a game or certain situations and this theory consider the universe to generally maximize its play, upon which entire concept of rationality in game theory lies. As explained in the theory of conflict, this theory is based on the rational assumptions of participants in which strategic decision of one person or player is influenced by the other.
