1.0 Introduction Advertisement is a type of marketing communication which is openly sponsored to sell a product or service. Various types of mass media services are used to send advertisements like newspapers, magazines, television radio, direct mail, blogs and websites. Advertising influences the behaviour of the consumers and helps in increasing sales. As opined by Bogomolova et al. (2017, p.189) that advertisement changes the consumer opinion about a particular product. This highly affects the behaviours of customers by changing their purchasing decisions. Advertising helps to show that a company is successful and create a positive image about the company in the minds of the consumers. As stated by Wijaya (2015, p.44) that the advertisement highly focuses on the customer brand preference for a particular product. This proposal will focus on the factors of advertisement that is influencing the behaviours of customers with proper theoretical perspectives. Further, this proposal will provide solutions to the identified issues that affect the consumer behavior with fake and false marketing in UK.
