  • The poster should:
  •  Demonstrate understanding of the concept of Cultural Competency
  •  Illuminate related concepts such as: cultural awareness, cultural knowledge, cultural sensitivity, cultural safety & cultural
  • respect
  •  Be submitted on a Power Point slide saved as a pdf.
  •  Include references for images/graphics on a separate slide A one thousand word essay should accompany the poster. The essay
  • will:
  •  Provide the rationale for the design of the poster, based on evidence from the academic literature
  •  Define the concept of Cultural Competency (sourced from the literature) and analyse its strengths and limitations
  •  Describe the multifaceted nature of culturally competent health care delivery to Australian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people
